DCH was founded in 1946 in Braintree, Essex. Over the years DCH has constructed all types of buildings throughout Essex, East Anglia, East and North London, East Hertfordshire and South Cambridgeshire.

The core business has always been building contracting working closely with client appointed consultants. In addition to this traditional approach, DCH have gained considerable experience Designing and Building a sustainable future, using the resources and expertise of carefuly selected independent consultants and suppliers.

The Team does not stop at DCH. We see the future success of the industry relying on the full co-operation of all parties to the construction process, including the Client, Architect and all consultants. The way forward is for all concerned to work in harmony, resulting in value for money for our clients.

Our long history of building Local Authority housing, provided the necessary experience to move forward with many Housing Associations, with whom our commitment to a complete construction service, Quality and Eco-design, has ensured an ongoing relationship with several RSL's.

Typical DCH contracts range in value from £150'000 to £3 million.
